Iris, one of Mother Nature's rainbows










 The yellow/white was a gift many years ago from Mary.

Middle, my black purple iris, difficult to photograph, before fully opened the bud appears even more black.

Did a little google search, found that the Iris takes its name from the Greek word for "rainbow," and can be found in just about every part of the world.

Gotta love 'em. Those were the only outside flowers my mom couldn't kill.
