Flipside's Challenges Get More Difficult - Cotton

Linda's Wordless Wednesday challenges get a bit more difficult every week, especially since she keeps pulling these snow photos on me.  This has been a cold wet winter here in Alabama, they say the worst in 25 years, but, Gulf Shores, so far has escaped real snow (cannot count those sleet/snow balls that melted on contact).

But, she gave her post today a clever title, "Ohio Cotton" . Reflection's response is Alabama Marsh Cotton.  The other day Man and I went to Gulf State Park to walk in an area we had not investigated yet.  Here I found cat tails in the cotton stage. Rather beat up by all the wind and rain we have had, aren't they??

YOU GOT ME!!!! I figured you would drive up to a "real" cotton field and snap a few pix. These are better and clever. Now what will I do next week.......

Clever, well, maybe, more like desperate! LOL

The REAL cotton down here has been harvested, the fields are nothing but stalks with the occasional little ball of cotton.

I was looking for a way to use those photos, thanks for providing a great fun way.
